Protecting Mother Nature, and specifically the land & water for which all life depends, is the mission of the Nature Conservancy. We partnered with the California chapter to create dynamic campaigns that told stories through digital mediums. Over the course of 18 months, we helped The Nature Conservancy in California create: an overarching donor campaign, microsites, display ads, infographics, and several films to support these various initiatives.

Creating a donor campaign for the California chapter in 2016 provided several challenges – however, none was bigger than creating a concept that would resonate and strike the right tone during a contentious election year. With so many issues taking center stage, we needed to find ways to elevate our message in order to effectively reach our target audience. Striking a more… 'Savage' tone than TNC was used to, we helped create an effective campaign that manifested itself across multiple channels and ultimately drove a major increase in awareness and acquisition.

In addition to creating multiple campaigns, TNC engaged the Bureau in several film projects to generate awareness for special causes. After the acquisition of the Dangermond preserve, we worked closely with the internal stakeholders to create an announcement film supporting the PR release.
In response to the Tubbs fires that ravaged Northern California in 2017, we were engaged to help create a film, explaining the benefits of forest thinning and proper forest maintenance. We then extended the infographics from the film to be leveraged across all social media channels.
Events & Infographics
Our initial engagement with the California chapter of TNC involved a multifaceted donor event. We created wayfinding, infographics, and branded visuals to support a live fundraising event in San Francisco. This initial project was the start of a retained relationship which lasted for two years.
From the initial engagement through the span of the entire relationship, we supported various internal teams by producing a myriad of infographics to help tell complicated stories in easily digestible visual formats.
